Please note, the City Council is a public authority for the purposes of the Freedom of Information Act. This means that any individual has the right of access to recorded information held by the Council, unless an exemption applies. Information about you personally is protected under the Data Protection Act and will be treated in confidence. Any financial information you are required to supply on condition of receiving support from public funds will not normally be discloseable if the Council is satisfied this would be likely to prejudice your commercial interests. If a specific request is received, you will normally be consulted prior to any information being released.
